BBC Sherlock

I am a very big fan of the BBC Sherlock series! Realism isn't really my thing, but I like Benedict Cumberbatch enough to give it a shot. :)

As always, sorry for the lack of updates! I think I need to give this blog layout a face-lift soon...

Sometimes I wonder what "believe in Sherlock Holmes" actually mean. Do I believe that he's not a fake, or do I believe in the lie that he told John?

I always thought it was from John's POV, believing in everything Sherlock did and that Moriarty was indeed a criminal mastermind. xD

Great artwork :)

Thanks for sharing!

BBC Sherlock is a classic with great acting, great music and clever scripts.

Cheers!

@buddy2blogger: Thank you for your comment! I'm so impressed with how well Gatiss and Moffat modernized and adapted Sir Conan Doyle's books. You can tell they are true fans with all the easter eggs. And yes, the acting is superb! :)

Hey Joyce, Awesome portrait. I like the shading that you put into this piece of art. It's great to see another fan of Sherlock. I loved the Guy Richie version of sherlock but then when I heard that the BBC was doing a version I was hooked from episode one. Quite tempted to buy the books to see how much it is different from the originals.

Hi Leiran, sorry for the late reply! Thanks for your kind comment :) I would definitely recommend reading the books, it's quite interesting to see how the Sherlock writers developed the scripts from the original stories. Looking forward to season 3!

Hi Joyce

I love your drawing and wanted to use it as inspiration for my drawing. If I gave credit to you for your original, would you mind if I posted mine?

Thanks Lorebeth, I'm so flattered! I wouldn't mind at all as long as you provide credit. I'd love to see your drawing so please share a link to it when you're done. :)
