I'm really feeling how rusty I've gotten... it's been redraw after redraw. D:
Current iteration (sadly, the anatomy doesn't get any better with each iteration lol)! After thinking of nothing but David Bowie from the Labyrinth and the King of All Cosmos from Katamari, I added more definition in some areas than I intended to. :'D
I drew a one-minute chibi version at the height of my frustration...
Earliest iteration... I repainted Katniss' face at least five times until I realized the only answer was to completely redraw her.
Will see if this painting actually gets done... :'D

I shall say that the movie made a very poor job when portraying the costumes... at least taking in consideration what I imagined and even your sketches.

You'll probably be disappointed... I know Tammy was. Are you a big fan of the books?
@Carrette: Oh no! That's sad to hear... I'm going to watch the movie tomorrow so I guess I'll see for myself!
@Andy: I enjoyed the books a lot, but I wouldn't call myself a big fan, if that makes sense... My expectations for the movie are getting lower and lower, which might be a good thing. ;)
